Mitch Burger

Mitch Burger serves as the Chief Insights Officer at Healthdirect Australia since February 2024 and holds the position of Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Biomedical Informatics and Digital Health at the University of Sydney since December 2020. Prior experience includes roles such as Director of Strategy, Architecture, Innovation and Research at Sydney Local Health District and Co-Director of Benefits and Research at the Australian Digital Health Agency. Mitch has a background in benefits evaluation and healthcare project management, evidenced by previous positions at NEHTA and Queensland Health. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Health from UNSW and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) from the University of Sydney.
