Gary Murphy

Gary Murphy is an experienced healthcare professional currently serving as the Theatre Nurse Unit Manager at Healthe Care Australia since October 2021 and as a Registered Nurse and Operating Theatres Floor Coordinator at Lingard Private Hospital since December 2016. In addition to clinical roles, Gary has contributed to academia as a Sessional Lecturer for Economics programs at the University of Newcastle from July 2017 to June 2022, and previously held positions as Assistant Professor of Economics and Adjunct Professor of Economics at Case Western Reserve University from 2003 to 2012. Gary's educational background includes a Leadership in Medicine degree from Harvard Medical School, a Master's in Registered Nursing from the University of Sydney, and a Master's in Development Economics and International Development from NMBU - Norwegian University of Life Sciences.
