Jim Jarvis

Jim Jarvis has a long history of professional experience. Jim began their career in 1981 as a Special Assistant Attorney General at the Minnesota Attorney General's Office. In 1987, they became the Assistant Commissioner for the Departments of Trade and Economic Development and Commerce. From 1999 to 2011, they were a Senior Management Consultant at Management Analysis & Development. Jim then opened their own practice, Jarvis Law, PLLC, in 2011. In 2018, they became the Principal of Mahmish, LLC. Currently, they are the Vice President of Government, Legal & Compliance at HealtheMed, Inc., where they serve as the company's general counsel and leads an initiative to achieve its dual goals of a sustainable business and enhanced client and societal outcomes.

Jim Jarvis obtained a JD from Widener University School of Law between 1978 and 1981. Jim attended the University of Minnesota's H. H. Humphrey Leadership Institute from 1988 to 1989. Between 1974 and 1975, they attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee for Business/Managerial Economics. Jim received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Minnesota Duluth between 1969 and 1973. Jim also obtained a CCRE (Certificate of Continuing Regulatory Education) from Michigan State University's Institute of Public Utilities (\"Camp NARUC\") in 1984 and 1986.
