Abhinav Thakore

Abhinav Thakore has a wide array of work experience, starting with a current role as Business Development Manager with Healthera aimed at future-proofing community pharmacies in the UK. Previously, they worked as a Locum Pharmacist at PharmaCare and as a Project Support Officer at the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency, where they led several critical projects. Abhinav also worked as a Pharmacy Manager for four years at Tesco, turning around a failing pharmacy and achieving high performance KPIs. Additionally, they had a part-bono role as a facilitator and coach for structured education programmes for patients with various health conditions at Hillingdon Clinical Commissioning Group. Thakore's experience also includes a role as a Group Service Coach/Customer Experience Manager at Tesco where they implemented a programme of improvement initiatives across 23 regional stores, improving overall customer service scores, and delivering strong Christmas performance results.

Abhinav Thakore earned a Master of Pharmacy degree from the Medway School of Pharmacy from 2005 to 2009. They also received various certifications in data science and IT, such as the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate Specialization and the Google IT Support Professional Certificate Specialization, through online courses on Coursera and Dataquest.io from 2018 to 2023. Additionally, they received a PRINCE2® Foundation Certification Training from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2021 and completed a course in Open Source Tools for Data Science on Coursera in 2018.
