Mr. Hewitt has been with Healthesystems since its inception and has intricate knowledge of the company’s products and customers, as well as a deep understanding of the workers’ compensation market. He embodies the company’s dedication to servicing customers and delivering innovative solutions that enhance medical care management strategies.
As General Manager, he guides the service delivery, innovation and growth of the company’s pharmacy benefit management (PBM) business solution.
Mr. Hewitt was a driving force behind the company’s philosophy of focusing on the customer, and at one point led the client services division, with oversight of both account management and customer service center functions. Under his leadership, Healthesystems achieved industry-leading service levels for its customer, pharmacy and injured worker interactions.
Prior to his 15-year tenure with Healthesystems, Mr. Hewitt spent nearly 10 years managing accounts for a workers’ compensation pharmacy benefit manager. His broad expertise was used to assist with new client implementations and sales engagements.
