Mike McCord

As vice president of Account Management, Mr. McCord oversees all account management operations and personnel to ensure the highest level of client service excellence. He and his team are responsible for developing, nurturing, and maintaining the critical partnerships between Healthesystems and its valued customers.

Mr. McCord’s career spans three decades in healthcare and 20 years specifically in workers’ compensation, through which he is intimately familiar with the unique needs of workers’ compensation payers. Over his career, he has worked with multiple Top 10 insurers, as well as some of the largest employers in the workers’ compensation space, including Wal-Mart, Target, UPS, and USPS. Prior to joining Healthesystems in 2014, he held multiple leadership roles in provider of care, network and managed services organizations that include vice president of Sales, vice president of Operations, and vice president of Account Management. Collectively this experience has shaped Mr. McCord’s deep, multidimensional understanding of the medical cost management business.

Mr. McCord graduated from Texas Christian University with a degree in marketing.
