Micah Potts

Micah Potts has a strong background in software engineering management. They are currently working as an Engineering Manager at Healthie since 2023. Previously, they held the same position at Denim from 2022 to 2022. During their time at Denim, they played a key role in the company's growth, expanding the engineering team and restructuring it into two persona teams and one platform team. Additionally, they fostered a high-performance and high-trust culture, mentoring team members into managerial and leadership roles. Before that, they worked as a Software Engineering Manager at BlockFi from 2021 to 2022. In this role, they were responsible for the end-to-end delivery and maintenance of BlockFi's retail trading application. They also facilitated internal promotions and mentored engineers through the growth of the engineering team. Prior to BlockFi, Micah served as a Team Lead for the Core Engineering Team at El Toro IP Targeting from 2017 to 2021. They played an instrumental role in the planning and launch of a self-service portal and led the decoupling of the Back End Elixir team into a microservices architecture.

Micah Potts has pursued education in various fields. They received training in Full Stack JavaScript, Front End Web Development, and PHP at Code Louisville. Additionally, Micah holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography from Carson-Newman University.
