Jake Williams possesses extensive experience in leadership and advocacy within the public policy sector. Currently serving as the CEO of Healthier Colorado since May 2014, Jake has successfully led initiatives resulting in significant public policy advancements, such as enhancing nutrition standards and implementing paid sick leave. Previous roles include working as Principal at Rylo Strategies, Director of Public Engagement for the Colorado River Sustainability Campaign, and Campaigns Director at the Western Conservation Foundation. Jake also has experience in grassroots organizing and campaign management, including a successful election campaign for Kathy Hartman and service with the SEIU. Academically, Jake holds multiple degrees, including an Executive MBA from Brown University and a Master’s in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics.

Healthier Colorado is a 501(c)(4) with a broad mission to improve Coloradans’ health through policy changes that increase access to quality care or support healthy living. Healthier Colorado is the state’s first and only health advocacy organization that focuses specifically on policy change. The organization is focused on building a grassroots network of Coloradans willing to advocate for a healthier state.
