Healthier Kids Foundation
Janine Nguyen is a Vietnamese Facilitator at the Healthier Kids Foundation since March 2022, responsible for delivering engaging classes, managing logistics, and conducting evaluations. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at the UC Davis LGBTQIA Resource Center, where Janine utilized specialized knowledge of LGBTQIA+ communities to conduct research and facilitate communication among various stakeholders. At the UC Davis Academic Assistance and Tutoring Center, Janine held roles as both a Writing Tutor and Head Subject Writing Tutor, leading discussions and improving tutoring practices. Additional internships include a short tenure at Equality California, where Janine contributed to policy research under Assemblymember Ward, and serving as a Bradshaw Scholar at the UC Davis Center for Regional Change, focusing on environmental justice. Janine holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of California, Davis.
