Pankaj Kumar Thakral has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies in the healthcare industry.

Pankaj Kumar started their career at Merck Limited as an Area Sales Manager, where they focused on sales operations and expanding the company's presence in the North region.

Thakral then joined Ortho Clinical Diagnostics, a Johnson & Johnson company, where they held various roles such as Business Executive, Zonal Sales Manager, and Business Manager for the North region. Pankaj Kumar was responsible for managing business operations, developing strategies, and leading teams to achieve growth.

After that, Thakral worked at Bio-Rad Laboratories as a Divisional Manager, where they were responsible for driving profitable growth in the Clinical Diagnostic business in India and SAARC countries.

Pankaj Kumar later joined Fenwal, Inc., a Fresenius Kabi company, as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Asia Pacific region. In this role, they managed and drove growth in the region, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, and support functions.

Thakral then transitioned to Baxter India Pvt Ltd, where they held multiple roles, including National Sales Manager, Head of Patient Access, and Director of Patient Access. Pankaj Kumar was responsible for developing strong patient access teams, defining market access agendas, and leading the transition of the BioPharma Business.

Thakral's experience also includes working at Baxalta Bioscience India Pvt Ltd, now part of Shire, as the Franchise Head for Hematology. Pankaj Kumar oversaw all strategic and operational aspects of the business and ensured the franchise delivered on its commitments.

Currently, Thakral holds the position of Senior Vice President at Healthium Medtech Limited. Pankaj Kumar previously served as Vice President of Sales in the same company. Healthium Medtech is a global Medtech company with manufacturing locations worldwide, specializing in wound closure products, urology products, and minimally invasive solutions.

Pankaj Kumar Thakral completed an Executive Programme in Business Management (EPBM XI) from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta in 2008-2009. Pankaj Kumar also obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Biotechnology from Punjabi University between 1994 and 1996.
