Mustafa Sir

Mustafa Sir currently serves as Vice President of AI/ML at Healthmap Solutions since December 2024. Previously, Mustafa held multiple roles at Amazon from September 2019 to November 2024, including Senior Applied Scientist, where contributions included building a care routing mechanism and developing A/B testing platforms for Amazon Advertising. Mustafa also led the Applied Science team at Amazon Care, focusing on AI/ML products for clinical practice. Earlier experience includes serving as Principal Applied Scientist at Mayo Clinic from October 2014 to August 2019, leading the information and decision engineering team, and as Assistant Professor at the University of Missouri, teaching advanced optimization and data science. Mustafa's career began as a Research & Development Analyst at Progressive Insurance. Education includes a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree from the University of Michigan in Industrial and Operations Engineering and Electrical Engineering - Systems, respectively.
