Chris Mason

Chris Mason currently serves as Senior Vice President of Agency Distribution for UnitedHealthcare, overseeing owned choice-model agencies such as HealthMarkets, Golden Outlook, Excelsior Benefits, and First Family Insurance since July 2022. Mason has been with HealthMarkets, Inc. since September 2009, holding titles including Senior Vice President and Vice President of Life Sales and Agency Distribution. Prior experience includes a Vice President role at Beneficial Financial Group, where responsibilities encompassed Career Distribution and managing agencies. Additionally, Mason held leadership positions at The MONY Group as National Director and Associate Managing Director. Educationally, Mason obtained a Bachelor of Science in Business Management with a finance emphasis from Brigham Young University's Marriott School of Business and holds a Chartered Financial Consultant designation from The American College of Financial Services.
