Ian Gunsolus

Ian Gunsolus is a highly experienced professional in clinical chemistry and toxicology, currently serving as the Medical Laboratory Scientific Director at HealthPartners since September 2021. Prior to this role, Ian held multiple positions at the Medical College of Wisconsin, including Co-Director and Associate Director of Clinical Chemistry and Toxicology, and completed a Clinical Chemistry Postdoctoral Fellowship at Hennepin County Medical Center. Ian's academic background includes a PhD and MS in Chemistry from the University of Minnesota, where significant research focused on engineered nanomaterials and their biological interactions. Ian also gained practical experience as a laboratory intern with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and conducted research at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory.
