Harald Upegui

Harald Upegui, CISSP has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Harald'smost recent role was as the Director of Information Security at HealthPoint, starting in November 2021. Prior to that, they served as an Information Security Officer at the same company from December 2016 to November 2021. Before joining HealthPoint, Harald worked at various organizations, including HealthPoint (2008-2016) and Community Health Centers of King County (2002-2008), where they held positions as a Network & IS Systems Administrator. Harald also worked as an Assistant Coach at Rainer Valley Slammers from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, Harald has experience as a Computer, Network, and Phone technician at Alki Communications Inc from 1998 to 2001, where they set up servers, computers, and telephone systems for customers and troubleshooted software and hardware problems.

Harald Upegui, CISSP has a strong educational background in business and information systems. Harald completed their Masters of Information Systems from the University of Phoenix in 2008, specializing in Business and Technology Integration. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Information Systems from the University of Phoenix between 2000 and 2002, with a focus on Business and Computer Science. In 1993, Harald received an Associate in Science degree in Computer & Information Sciences from San Diego City College, specializing in computer programming. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in 2022, and attended the Cohesity Connect Conference in 2021.
