Melissa Nolet

Melissa Nolet has extensive experience in various leadership roles, particularly in the field of people and safety management. Melissa is currently working as the Chief People and Safety Officer at HealthShare Victoria, where they support the organization in delivering health, safety, and value. Prior to this, they served as the Director of People, Culture & Safety at the same company.

Before joining HealthShare Victoria, Melissa held the position of Head of People, Culture and Safety at Phillip Island Nature Parks, a leading conservation and ecotourism organization. Melissa also worked as the Divisional Head of People & Capability, Utility Services at Ventia Pty Ltd, a large services firm providing operational maintenance, design and construction, and asset and facilities management services.

Additionally, Melissa has experience with Thiess as the People and Capability Manager - Asset & Infrastructure Services. Melissa contributed to the company's reputation as a leading provider of environmental engineering services, asset and infrastructure, energy, and communication solutions. Melissa also worked at Silcar, serving as an HR Manager - Network Integrity and a Human Resources Manager - Talent and Capability. In these roles, they provided strategic and generalist HR advice, managed organizational development projects, and oversaw shared services.

Melissa Nolet completed their Master of Human Resource Management from Monash University between 2007 and 2011. Currently, they are pursuing a Master of Occupational Health, Safety, and Ergonomics at La Trobe University, which will be completed between 2021 and 2025. Melissa has obtained additional certifications such as Professional member (MAHRI) from the Australian HR Institute (AHRI) in 2022 and Mental Health First Aid from Mental Health First Aid Australia in 2021.
