Amy Renshaw, Esq., CHC has a diverse work experience in the legal and compliance field. Amy is currently the Director of Compliance and Legal Affairs at HealthTeam Advantage, where they serve as the primary legal counsel for the Medicare Advantage organization. Their responsibilities include handling all legal matters, managing vendor contracts, and overseeing FDR (First Tier, Downstream and Related Entities) compliance. Amy is also a member of the Compliance team, ensuring adherence to the seven elements of an effective compliance program.
Prior to their current role, Amy worked at CareSource as the Manager of Corporate Compliance and Regulatory Affairs from 2016 to 2018. In this position, they were responsible for managing corporate compliance and regulatory affairs.
Before joining CareSource, Amy worked at Molina Healthcare as the Director of Government Contracts in 2015 and Anthem as a Senior Legal Counsel from 2009 to 2015. At Molina Healthcare, they focused on government contracts, while at Anthem, they served as legal counsel.
Earlier in their career, Amy worked at EyeMed Vision Care as a Compliance Counsel from 2006 to 2008. Amy also gained experience in managed care as a Managed Care Counsel at the Ohio Department of Insurance from 1990 to 2000.
Amy began their legal career as an Associate at BakerHostetler from 1987 to 1990.
