HealthTeam Advantage is a subsidiary of Cone Health, a not-for-profit health care network serving people in the greater Triad area of Greensboro, NC. At HealthTeam Advantage we have offered PPO Medicare Advantage plans since 2016 and have over 16,000 members as of October 2020. In January 2020 we launched a new chronic special needs plan (CSNP) for diabetes and congestive heart failure in Guilford County. Our Medicare Advantage plans have a special Healthcare Concierge model through our member services department, who are located right here in Greensboro. Our Medicare Advantage plans are all-in-one plans offering medical and prescription drug coverage plus extra benefits. The value of our Concierge customer service model is rewarded with a high 95% retention rate of our members. HealthTeam Advantage employees are offered great benefits plus training and development as part of their role within the company. In addition to an open environment where employees are encouraged to collaborate and give insight into on-going projects, they are also offered the ability to join community events that our company supports. These events include the Rubber Duck Race by the March of Dimes and JDFR One Walk, who leads the fight against Type 1 diabetes. Even in a time where most employees are working from home, we continue to be a close-knit family and have a weekly call with all company employees and our president, Brendan Hodges. This call is a time for company updates, questions and recognition of birthdays and years of service. We value diversity, and recognition of our most important resource, our employees.
