William Nguyen

William Nguyen has several years of work experience in software engineering and research. William currently works as a Software Engineer at HealthVerity, starting in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Airship AI as a Software Development Engineer from 2019 to 2022, where they designed and developed features for video management systems and built a metadata server for camera events. William also held a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Washington from 2018 to 2021, focusing on computer graphics and vision research. Additionally, they worked as a Research Intern at Microsoft in 2019, where they developed computer vision solutions for esports and gaming. In 2018, they were a Game Observer at Taunt, where they analyzed and highlighted key aspects of professional gaming matches.

William Nguyen received their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Software Engineering from the University of Washington. William attended the university from 2016 to 2019. In addition to their degree, they have obtained the following certifications: the 2021-22 Volunteer Badge from Microsoft, which they obtained in April 2022, and the Data Engineering Foundations Specialization from IBM, which they obtained in December 2021.
