Professor Sultan Mahmud

Professor Sultan Mahmud currently serves on the National Central Committee at Healthwatch England and is a member of the Board of Trustees for Pathway Healthcare for Homeless People. Since May 2021, Professor Mahmud has held the position of Director of Healthcare at BT. Previously, from September 2014 to May 2021, engagement included roles as Chief Innovation, Integration and Research Officer and Managing Director at Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust. Prior to that, from January 2013 to August 2014, Professor Mahmud was the Executive Director of Commissioning for Shrops and Staffordshire at NHS England, and served as Associate Director of Delivery at Royal Wolverhampton Hospitals NHS Trust from November 2010 to December 2012. Both Master’s degrees in Health Services Management were attained from the University of Birmingham.
