William Pett has a diverse work experience in policy, public affairs, and research. William began their career as a Parliamentary Researcher at the House of Commons in 2013 and later worked as an Account Manager in Public Policy at JBP Parliamentary Affairs. In 2017, they joined MHP Communications as a Senior Account Manager in the Health sector. In 2018, they briefly worked as the HIV & Hepatitis C Policy Lead at MSD. From 2019 to 2023, they served as a Senior Policy Advisor at the NHS Confederation, specializing in Integration & System Transformation. During this time, they also worked as a Senior Advisor to Matthew Taylor, the CEO. In 2023, they joined BSW Together as an Associate Director of Policy & Strategy, working with the Bath & North East Somerset, Swindon, and Wiltshire Integrated Care Board (ICB). Currently, they hold the position of Head of Policy, Public Affairs & Research at Healthwatch England.
William Pett has a Bachelor of Social Science degree in Politics and International Relations from The University of Manchester. William also pursued a Master of Science degree in Public Policy and Governance from the University of Amsterdam.
