Matt Plaska

Matt Plaska is an experienced professional in the fields of quality improvement and organizational development, currently serving as the Accreditation & Performance Improvement Manager and Director of Quality Improvement at HealthWest since February 2017. Previously, Matt held various roles at Mercy Home for Boys & Girls from August 2007 to February 2017, including Manager of Organizational Development, where responsibilities included continuous quality improvement and colleague development. Matt began the career at Mercy Home as a Youth Care Worker and gained additional experience through internships at the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services and the Chicago Area Project. Matt earned a Bachelor’s degree in Theology, Sociology, and Computer Applications from the University of Notre Dame and a Master of Social Work (MSW) in Children and Family Services from the University of Illinois Chicago.
