Monique Nwala is a Family Medicine Physician Assistant at HealthWorks for Northern Virginia, providing comprehensive medical care to underserved populations since May 2021, driven by a strong commitment to reducing healthcare disparities. An alumna of Touro College of Health Sciences, Monique holds both a BS in Health Sciences and an MS in Physician Assistant Studies, complemented by a BS in Biology from Old Dominion University. Additionally, Monique has diversified expertise as a Financial Professional with World Financial Group and has foundational experience as an Emergency Room Scribe.

HealthWorks, a nonprofit community health center with locations in Leesburg, Herndon and Reston, Virginia, is proud to provide high quality, accessible primary medical, dental and behavioral health care to more than 17,000 patients of all ages, regardless of income or insurance status. We are the only health care safety net in Loudoun County for low income, uninsured children and adults age 65 and older. HealthWorks for Northern Virginia health centers are Federal Torts Claims Act (FTCA) deemed facilities. HealthWorks is a 501(c(3) nonprofit community-based Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). HealthWorks is a Health Center program grantee under 42 U.S.C. 254b, and deemed Public Health Service employee under 42 U.S.C. 233(g)-(n).
