Teresa McGrath has over 17 years of experience in the chemical and environmental regulatory fields. Teresa started their career as a Chemist at St. Jude Medical in 2001 before moving on to NSF International in 2006, where they worked as a Senior Managing Toxicologist for 8 years. In 2014, Teresa joined Valspar as an Environmental Regulatory Toxicologist and later transitioned to Sherwin-Williams when they acquired Valspar in 2017. At Sherwin-Williams, Teresa served as a Toxicologist and managed the company's Chemical Management Program, focusing on hazards reduction and transparency. In 2018, they joined Healthy Building Network as the Chief Research Officer.
Teresa McGrath obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Chemistry from Hamline University, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Teresa later pursued a Master of Research degree in Clean Chemical Technology at the University of York from 2003 to 2004.
