Russell Johnson

Russell Johnson currently serves as the Chairperson of the Board for Rebuild Tampa, which focuses on engaging inner city teenagers in the Trades. Johnson has been a Board Member of the Healthy Start Coalition of Hillsborough County, Inc. since March 2017 and has held the position of Metro Director at Young Life since September 2001, where urban ministry development is prioritized. Previous leadership roles include Board Chair at Oasis Network of New Tampa Inc. and Committee Member at Hillsborough Education Foundation. Johnson founded God's Pedal Power Ministries, demonstrating commitment to serving the poor by providing fixed bicycles to families in need. Early career experience includes roles as Program Manager at the Tampa Metropolitan Area YMCA and Community Organizer for the Hillsborough County Office of Neighborhood Relations. Educational qualifications include a recent focus on Non-Profit Business Management at the University of Tampa, along with degrees in Communications from both the University of Tampa and Springfield Technical Community College.
