John Turkaly

John Turkaly, the Chief Financial Officer, is a seasoned financial executive with nearly 30 years of experience. After starting his career in Public Accounting, John provided financial and operational guidance to some of the world’s premier professional service firms. He oversees HEAPY’s financial functions, including strategic financial planning, reporting and analysis, treasury, and enterprise risk management.

John splits time each week between the Dayton office and his home in Northeast Ohio. His spouse Elisabeth is a preschool teacher. They have two adult children – Carolyn (living/working in D.C.) and Adam (living at home while he finishes school). Much of his leisure time is joyfully spent visiting family dispersed across the country, as well as biking and hiking – or any other opportunity to be outdoors during Northeast Ohio’s short summers.
