Mara Zepeda

Mara Zepeda is a board member at Hearken. Mara was previously the co-founder of Switchboard, an engagement platform used by leaders in higher education and independent schools. Switchboard was part of Wieden + Kennedy's Portland Incubator Experiment 2013 class. Mara has also worked as a health + general assignment reporter at WHYY and as a marketplace health desk multimedia intern at American Public Media. In addition to their work in the media, Mara is also a calligrapher and the owner of Neither Snow.

Mara Zepeda has a MS in Digital Media from Columbia University - Graduate School of Journalism, a BA in Russian from Reed College, and has studied abroad at Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia and at the Summer Russian Language School at Middlebury College.
