Niclas Uggla

Niclas Uggla has a diverse work experience in the field of intellectual property (IP). Niclas is currently working as the Head of IP at Heart Aerospace since 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Substitute member of the EPI council at the European Patent Institute starting in 2020. Niclas has also worked as a Foreign affiliate at AIPLA since 2010. In addition, Niclas has held the role of Patent Attorney at the Swedish Intellectual Property Attorneys Association since 2006. Furthermore, they have served as the Senior Patent Attorney at Zacco Sweden AB, where they were responsible for developing the company's presence in Uppsala. Niclas also assisted clients in various patent-related matters. Additionally, Niclas has worked as the Driver/Chairman at SPOF Golf Academy, a golf organization focused on increasing golf activities among members of the Swedish Patent Attorney Society. Niclas was also a Patent Attorney at BRANN AB, where they assisted clients in protecting their research and development results. Further, they served as the CTO at Nilar International AB, and later, at Aros Patent AB as a Patent Attorney. Finally, they started their career as a Patent Attorney at Ehrner & Delmar Patentbyrå AB.

Niclas Uggla completed their Master's degree in Applied Physics and Electro Engineering from Linköping University, where they studied from 1986 to 1992. Afterward, they pursued further education in patent law and became a European Patent Attorney. The exact duration of their study at the European Patent Office is not provided, but it ended in 2017.
