Cara Santillo

Cara Santillo has over 10 years of experience in market access and reimbursement, working in various roles at different companies. Currently, they are the Vice President of Market Access and Reimbursement at HeartFlow, Inc. Before that, they served as the Senior Director and Director of Market Access at Elekta, where they led the development and execution of reimbursement strategies for the company's product lines. Prior to Elekta, Cara worked as a Manager of Health Economics & Reimbursement at Bayer HealthCare, where they developed strategic reimbursement assessments and analyzed payment policies for the company's products. Cara also held the position of Manager of Reimbursement and Health Economics at The Neocure Group, where they engaged with customers to identify market access strategies and prepared policy briefs on healthcare reform initiatives. Early in their career, they worked at Covance Market Access Services as an Associate and Research Associate, analyzing healthcare policy and assisting with client meetings.

Cara Santillo received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nutrition Sciences from Cornell University in 2006. Cara then pursued a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree in Health Management and Policy from the University of Michigan School of Public Health, completing it in 2014.
