Wiliam Quirk

Chief Medical Officer at HeartHero

William Quirk has over 30 years of experience in the medical field, beginning in 2000 as a faculty member for Advanced Trauma Life Support and an Attending Physician for EPPH Physician Services. In 2002, they became the Chief Medical Officer of Ascend Billing Services and in 2007, they became a Clinical Professor at St. Francis University. In 2008, they took on the role of Medical Consultant for HWKSW, LLP, and in 2009, they became an Emergency Medicine Expert for the State of Colorado. In 2012, they became the Chief Medical Officer of dBMEDx, where they linked world class engineering to patient care to provide improved outcomes for patients and their families. In 2017, they became the Chief Medical Officer of HeartHero/EIR, inc, where they are working to build a game-changing device that will save countless lives.

William Quirk obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Stony Brook University in 1993, after studying Medicine from 1989 to 1993. Wiliam then completed their Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Stanford University from 1993 to 1996. In November 2014, they obtained an Advanced Trauma Life Saving Course Faculty certification.
