James Hensley

Director Supply Chain Finance at Hearthside Food Solutions

James Hensley, CPA has over 20 years of work experience in finance and accounting. James started their career as a Staff Accountant at Hansen, Plahm & Co, CPAs in 1991. James then worked as an Analyst at Crane & Machinery from 1994 to 1996, and at Dr Pepper Snapple Group from 1996 to 2000.

In 2000, Hensley joined Nalco as a Senior Accountant, where they eventually became a Senior SOX Global Compliance Analyst and a Finance Manager for the Paper Services Division. James was responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance initiatives.

From 2007 to 2010, Hensley served as a Senior Financial Analyst and Procurement Representative at Nalco. James was in charge of financial reporting, compliance initiatives, and developing raw material cost forecasts. James also implemented supplier performance reporting.

In 2011, Hensley joined G&W Electric Co. as part of the Finance team. James reported directly to the CFO and had responsibilities in financial planning and analysis, forecasting, budgeting, M&A analysis, and significant projects for Senior Management. James successfully executed an International Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) program.

Currently, Hensley is working at Hearthside Food Solutions as the Director of Supply Chain Finance. James oversees the financial aspects of a $1.5B division, covering multiple business segments and managing 11 plants. James is a key member of the management team and provides special project analysis to the C-Suite team on a regular basis.

James Hensley, CPA, earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy with a minor in Finance from Miami University in the years 1988 to 1991. James is also a Certified Public Accountant.
