Derek Greenwood

Derek Greenwood is an accomplished Graphic Design Manager at Heartland Dental since April 2009, leading a team responsible for marketing materials for approximately 750 dental offices and corporate communications. Commencing employment as a temporary worker, Derek achieved managerial status within a year. Prior experience includes serving as Lead Graphic Designer at Mid America Motorworks from 2003 to 2008, where involvement included rebranding and design for various sub-brands. Derek also contributed as a part-time instructor for Adobe Illustrator at Lake Land Community College, developing a unique curriculum for students. Earlier roles featured a position as Cover Designer at Consolidated Communications Directories, creating custom directory covers, and Graphic Designer at The Lancaster Company, conceptualizing ad campaigns and corporate identity. Derek’s career began in the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Field Artillery Cannoneer from 1988 to 1992.
