Marquina Butts-Fisher

Independent Living Coordinator at Heartland for Children

Marquina Butts-Fisher is an experienced professional with a diverse background in independent living and teen pregnancy prevention. Currently serving as the Independent Living Coordinator at Heartland for Children since July 2017, Marquina also holds the position of Teen Pregnancy Prevention Program Manager at the Healthy Start Coalition of Hardee, Highlands, and Polk Counties, Inc. since July 2010, where responsibilities include managing programs, ensuring grant deliverables, and teaching sexual health education. Previous roles include Career Coach at Career Source Polk, Health Educator at Inneract Alliance, and Counselor I at PACE Center for Girls. Marquina holds a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Sociology from Florida Southern College and an MBA in Management Leadership and Human Resource Management from Webster University.
