Colleen (Kirby) Riddle MA, MSW, CWCMS, CWLS is a seasoned professional in social work and child welfare, currently serving as a School Social Worker with the Polk County School Board since August 2022 and as an Independent Contractor for Child Welfare at Heartland for Children since August 2020. Previously, Colleen was a Reach Therapist at Pace Center for Girls, providing clinical services to at-risk girls, and held multiple leadership roles at FBCH | One More Child, including Senior Director of Foster Care for Central Florida. Colleen's extensive experience also includes significant positions at the Children's Home Society of Florida, and a DJJ Case Manager role at Global Youth Services. Colleen holds a Master of Social Work from Southeastern University, a Master of Arts in Human Services with a focus on Marriage and Family from Liberty University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Cedarville University.

Heartland for Children
Heartland for Children is the local not-for-profit agency responsible for redesigning the foster care system in Polk, Hardee and Highlands Counties. Heartland for Children promotes the prevention of child abuse and oversees the provision of services for children who have been abused and/or neglected. These services include in-home family strengthening, adoption, case management, foster care and independent living. As the local Child Welfare Lead Agency, Heartland for Children is concerned with the safety and well being of all children in our community.
