Amy Kalmbach

Amy Kalmbach currently serves as the Senior Director of Refugee and Immigrant Community Services at Heartland Human Care Services, a position held since August 2023. Prior experience includes roles such as Senior Manager of Protection and Wellness and Interim Senior Site Director at the International Rescue Committee from February 2022 to August 2023. Amy's extensive career features positions at IOM - UN Migration, where responsibilities included Head of Sub-Office in Abyei and Grants Manager. Additional experience encompasses proposal management roles at Creative Associates International and policy development at the National Community Action Foundation. Amy also contributed to research projects for The University of Texas at Austin and worked with various organizations, including Minority Rights Group International and Obama for America. Academic qualifications include a Master of Global Policy in International Development from the LBJ School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and French from Austin College.
