Peter Helander has extensive work experience in the IT industry. Peter served as the Principal and CEO of Heartland Business Systems, a leading IT integration firm, from 1990 onwards. At Heartland, they oversaw various aspects of the company's operations and consistently achieved high rankings on national and international lists of top technology solutions providers.
In addition to their role at Heartland, Peter Helander also joined the Board of Directors at Energy Bank Inc in 2014 and served in the position for an unspecified period of time.
Furthermore, they served as the Principal and CEO of Heartland Label Printers, LLC since its founding in 1990. Under their leadership, the company grew into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility and expanded its product offerings.
Peter Helander was also involved in Broadstep Behavioral Health as a member of the Board of Directors from March 2017 to May 2019.
Lastly, in 2004, they founded Avastone Technologies, LLC, which specialized in application and web development, e-commerce, custom software development, and barcode solutions. In 2016, Avastone merged its assets with Heartland Business Systems to further their shared vision of accelerating innovation and enabling the digital enterprise.
Peter Helander has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree from the University of Arizona.
