Maria Aiese

Maria Aiese, LMSW, currently serves as the Associate Vice President of Staff Development and Culture at HeartShare Human Services of New York, managing initiatives related to Employee Engagement, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Prior roles include Senior Director of Learning and Innovation and Director of Training at HeartShare St. Vincent's Services, where Maria developed and facilitated various training programs and co-chaired the LGBTQ Committee. Additional experience encompasses work as a Healthcare Integrator at JCCA, a Medical Foster Care Social Worker at Children's Aid Society, and multiple internships in social work. Maria holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Gender Studies from Purchase College, SUNY.
