David Schmidt

David Schmidt is the CEO of Heartwood Biomass since March 2021. Prior to that, he was the President and Founder of Integrated Biomass Resources from June 2009 to March 2021. His previous experience includes being the Forest Products Director at Upstream 21 from April 2007 to June 2009, and a Program Associate at Sustainable Northwest from June 2004 to April 2007. David earned his Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Renewable Materials from Oregon State University in 2001.
