Athanasios Georgakis

Athanasios (Thanos) Georgakis is an experienced professional in airport planning and infrastructure management, currently serving as an Infrastructure Project Manager on secondment at Heathrow. Previously, Thanos held various roles at Mott MacDonald, including Senior Airport Planner, Transport Business Analyst in Executive Business Development, and Airport Planner. Thanos also completed an internship at the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) at the Hellenic Institute of Transport (HIT). Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Airport Planning and Management from Cranfield University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Spatial Planning and Development Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
