Sophie Chapman

Sophie Chapman currently serves as the Surface Access Director at Heathrow since October 2022 and is a member of the HS2 Independent Design Panel since September 2021. Previously, Sophie held multiple leadership positions at Heathrow Express from April 2018 to October 2022, including Business Lead and Director, Head of Train Services, Head of Operations, and Interim Head of Customer Service. Prior experience includes working as a Customer Experience Lead for the Govia Bid Team in a self-employed capacity from May 2017 to February 2018 and a long tenure at Eurostar from July 1995 to January 2017, where roles included Head of On Board Services and Bid Support Director. Sophie holds a BA Hons in Government and European Community Studies from Newcastle University and a Graduate Diploma in Law from Guildford College of Law.
