Dorca Casseus

Dorca Casseus, NBCT, currently serves as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction at Hebrew Public since August 2022. Prior experience includes various leadership roles at Ascend Public Charter Schools from August 2014 to August 2022, such as Director of Lower School Literacy K-4, Dean of Student Services, Reading Coach, and Reading Intervention Teacher. Casseus began with Ascend Public Charter Schools as a 5th Grade Teacher from September 2013 to June 2014 and previously taught 1st grade at both Ascend Charter Schools and Achievement First between 2012 and 2011. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Childhood Education Grades 1-6 from Hunter College and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Macaulay Honors College at The City University of New York.
