Elyssa Yuen

Elyssa Yuen has held various roles in the education sector. Elyssa began their career in 2011 as a Corp Member at Teach For America, where they worked until 2013. From 2011 to 2014, they served as a Special Education Teacher at Mastery Schools. Elyssa then became the Special Education Coordinator from 2014 to 2015, and later the Assistant Principal of Student Support from 2015 to 2018. In 2019, they became the Head of School at Hebrew Public.

Elyssa Yuen began their education at Syracuse University in 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations & Public Policy. Elyssa completed their undergraduate studies in 2011. Following this, they enrolled at the University of Pennsylvania in 2011 and obtained a Master of Education (M.Ed.) degree in Urban Education & Special Education in 2013.
