Chief Schools Officer at Hebrew Public

Emily Fernandez's work experience begins in 2005 as a Teacher in TFA Miami-Dade Corps at Phillis Wheatley Elementary School. From 2007 to 2012, they worked as a Teacher at KIPP AMP Academy. In 2012, they became the Dean of Instruction at Brooklyn Ascend Lower School until 2014. From 2014 onwards, they served as the Principal at Brownsville Ascend Middle School. In 2019, Emily Fernandez joined Hebrew Public as the Chief Schools Officer.

Emily Fernandez completed their education at the Relay Graduate School of Education from 2007 to 2009, earning a Master's Degree in Education. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2005, they attended Boston University, where they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology.
