Lauren Guest

Lauren Guest is a Development Associate at Hecate Energy LLC since January 2023, with extensive experience in land negotiation at Oxy from July 2013 to January 2023. Throughout tenure at Oxy, Lauren progressed through various roles, including Senior Land Negotiator and Staff Land Negotiator, managing a vast portfolio of 1.8 million net acres across the Lower 48 states. Key accomplishments include negotiating leases and contracts in multiple states, resolving title conflicts, and generating over $6 million in revenue. Additionally, Lauren led Enhanced Oil Recovery land activities in New Mexico and successfully executed drilling programs in the Texas Delaware Permian Basin. Lauren began the career as a Land Negotiator Intern at Oxy in 2012 after earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Energy Commerce from Texas Tech University.
