Paul Turner

Paul Turner has a diverse work experience in the energy industry. Paul is currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer at Hecate Wind LLC since 2022. Prior to that, they held roles at Hecate Energy LLC as the Senior Vice President Business Development and Vice President Business Development from 2012 onwards. Paul also served as the Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Invenergy LLC in 2014. Before that, Paul worked at Renergix LLC as a Principal, providing strategic planning and development services to energy companies. Paul was the CEO of Nacel Energy Corporation from 2009 to 2010, responsible for wind energy development projects. Paul also worked at Peoples Energy as a Managing Director, leading project development discussions and strategy. Earlier in their career, they served as an Assistant Professor of Economics at New Mexico State University and as an Adjunct Professor of Energy Markets at Illinois Institute of Technology. Paul also had a role as a Principal at CornerStone Energy Advisors and was a Senior Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Paul Turner attended the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 1982 to 1986, where they received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering with a concentration in Electric Power. From 1989 to 1991, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Electric Utility Management Program at New Mexico State University. Subsequently, they attended the University of Wyoming from 1991 to 1996, obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Economics.
