Erick Begin has a diverse work experience spanning over 25 years. Erick started their career as a Tax Auditor at Revenu Québec in 1995. Erick then worked as an Internal Auditor at Superior Propane and Russel Metals. After that, they joined RSA where they held roles as a Senior Audit Consultant, Manager Internal Audit, and Director Treasury. In 2005, they moved to Knowledge First Financial as a Director Treasury and later became the Interim AVP Finance. From 2009 to 2014, they worked at Sobeys as the Director of Audit, Compliance, and Enterprise Risk Management. Following that, they served as the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Ecotex Healthcare Linen Service LP. Erick then held the position of Vice President - Finance - North America at Babcock Support Services for a year. Currently, they are working as the Vice President Finance & CFO at Heddle Shipyards. Erick Begin is a CPA, CMA, and MBA.

Erick began their educational journey at the Seminaire de Sherbrooke from 1983 to 1991. Following this, they attended Bishop's University from 1991 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a specialization in Accounting and Finance. Later, Erick pursued further studies at the Schulich School of Business - York University from 2000 to 2003, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Corporate Finance and Investment Management.
