Markus Acar is currently serving as the Advanced Computer Technology Coordinator, Co-op at Ontario Shipyards, where the focus is on developing an AI-powered application to improve cross-departmental communication and operational efficiency as part of the Ontario Shipyard Modernization Project. Additionally, Markus co-founded and leads the Toronto chapter of Turks in Tech, promoting innovation and supporting startups. With a strong commitment to community, Markus co-founded Technosophia, a professional hub for technology students and professionals, and acts as a Cultural Ambassador at McMaster University, organizing workshops to enhance student engagement. Previous experience includes being a Ground-Control Team Member for the McMaster Rocketry Team and completing the Harvard University-Founded ALP Alumni program through the Aspire Institute.
