Andreas Poulsen

Andreas Poulsen is a co-founder and CEO at Thy Whisky ApS, where organic and Single Estate Whisky is crafted from estate-grown grain since June 2016. In addition, Andreas serves as a member of the representative assembly at Hedeselskabet from May 2021. Previously, as a Technical Consultant for The Danish Climate Council from August 2015 to June 2016, Andreas conducted analyses in the transport and energy sectors to support climate initiatives. A Catalyst Specialist at Haldor Topsøe A/S from October 2012 to July 2015, responsibilities included kinetic calculations and data analysis for refining catalysts worldwide. Early career experience includes a student worker role at DTU Physics focused on web editing and DTP work, and serving as a board member and manager of volunteers for Næsbycentret, overseeing significant volunteer operations. Educational qualifications consist of a MSc in Sustainable Energy from DTU, a BSc in Physics & Nanoscale Technology from DTU, and a stint as a visiting researcher at UC Santa Barbara.
