David Norman

David Norman has a diverse range of work experience in various roles. David is currently working as an Engineering Lead at Hedge since 2022. Before that, they worked at Zulily as a Senior Software Engineer from 2019 to 2022, where they were responsible for application development and support. At Capital One, David held multiple roles, including Master Software Engineer (Manager) from 2017 to 2019, Senior Software Engineer from 2016 to 2017, and Mobile Developer from 2015 to 2016. Prior to that, they worked at Monsoon Company as an iOS Developer in 2015. David also has experience as a Mobile Developer at Cisco Systems from 2012 to 2015 and as a Sales Executive at Chatterfly, Inc. in 2011. David began their career in the US Navy as an Air Warfare Systems Operator from 2003 to 2009, where they developed and implemented training programs and was involved in safety management.

David Norman completed their Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Management Information Systems from San Jose State University between 2011 and 2013. In 2018, they obtained a Virtual Reality Nano Degree from Udacity. David also pursued studies in Computer Science at Udacity starting in 2013. Prior to their university education, they attended the College of San Mateo from 2010 to 2011. Additionally, they obtained a Professional Aeronautics qualification from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2007 to 2009. David has also earned several certifications, including the AWS Cloud Practitioner Certificate from Amazon Web Services in October 2018 and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate from Amazon Web Services in October 2016. David also holds an edX Honor Code Certificate for Introduction to Computer Science.
