Michael A. Blum

Michael A. Blum is a seasoned executive and entrepreneur with extensive experience in investment management and business leadership. As Co-Founder and President of Hedgeye Risk Management since January 2008, Michael has contributed to creating a groundbreaking research platform focused on transparency and accountability for investors. In addition, Michael holds the position of President at both Hedgeye Asset Management, LLC and Seven7, LLC, the latter focusing on innovative companies in various sectors. Furthermore, Michael serves as Chair of the Board of Directors at VERSES and as Director at Hedgeye Cares, Inc., a charitable organization. With a role as Managing Director at Asia Leisure Capital Ltd., Michael has been involved in hotel and casino management in Southeast Asia. Previous leadership roles include President of Sierpinski Capital Management LLC and CEO & Director at Magneto Sands Ltd. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics & International Studies with honors from Yale University.
