Ditte Hjorth Laursen

Ditte Hjorth Laursen PhD currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Hedia since September 2024. Previously, Ditte held multiple roles at Liva Healthcare from August 2020 to September 2024, including Research Director and Head of Research. Prior experience includes a position as an Udviklingskonsulent at the Center for Diabetes and a Guest Lecturer at the University of Copenhagen, where Ditte taught Medical Sociology and Quality Development. Ditte's academic journey includes a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Public Health Science from the University of Copenhagen, followed by a Ph.D. focused on diabetes patient education. Additionally, Ditte has contributed to the field of public health through various roles, including as a Board Member of FKFSV and as an author of the book "Reaching the (In)Visible Men of Vientiane."
